Pathetic Singapore... Monkeys?!

It's been a long time since I've updated this blog.

Today, a very unsightly scene I saw caused me to remind myself that I need to blog about it.

L and I were taking the North-East Line towards HarbourFront when I saw this young man enter the train with the girlfriend. I guess they just started dating, cos I observed that the both of them seemed abit awkward as a couple, yet seemed more than friends. L and I were sitting at the double-seat near the train's "cabin connection belt" opposite them. The young man was wearing open-toe strapped sandals, and he had his right leg over his 90-degree left leg.

While looking intently at his sweetheart, he did the most unthinkable right before our eyes. His hands reached to the toes on his right foot, and start to scratch all five toes with his bare fingers.

Ur-huh. I turned and told L, "and he will use those hands to touch her hand..."

Truth enough, after his hands got tired of caressing the toes, he hands moved over to touch her hand.

YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!

I mean, c'mon... I couldn't care less if you commit this act at home, in the comfort of your personal room, but PLEASE, leave the act at home. Don't bring it out in public!

It reminds me of a friend I had who scratched his head in front of a fan at a friends house and left his "snow flakes" there. Or the very common sight of men scratching their groin in public places when they feel the need to.

Puuleeaazzee... If you are reading this, please remind yourself at all times to NOT commit these social disgraces in public. It's so totally

EEEWwwwwwwww!!

We are not monkeys!
